This role gives you the opportunity to use your accounting expertise while gaining hands‑on experience in account reconciliations, journal entry transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll for multiple senior living communities. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values collaboration, accuracy, and continuous learning, helping ensure smooth financial operations and meaningful impact every day. Key Responsibilities Preparing bank reconciliations for each of the communities throughout the month Preparing monthly recurring entries such as depreciation, prepaids, management fees and payroll entries Preparing intercompany due to / due from for each of the communities Assisting with cash projection reports for each of the communities Preparing revenue and accounts receivable entry from subsidiary ledger Preparing balance sheet reconciliations for various accounts Reviewing accounts payable invoices Preparing and providing documentation for external parties as needed Assist with budget preparation as needed Other tasks as assigned Education A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field Will consider two (2) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree Experience Strong mathematical and analytical skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Excellent oral and written communication skills Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Ability to read and analyze financial reports Experience with Acumatica software preferred Other Must be able to work in our Minneapolis office five (5) days per week For the Staff Accountant position, we offer competitive compensation and a full benefits package for full‑time employees including a generous Paid Time Off (PTO) program offering 120 hours of PTO in the first year, increasing to 160 hours in the second year, and continuing to build with length of service; affordable insurance options for medical, dental, vision and more; a 401(k) with a 4% company match on a 5% contribution; automatic life insurance and AD&D coverage for all team members with a robust employee assistance program (EAP).
