The hospital offers advanced cardiovascular care, including one of the largest open-heart programs in Florida. The American College of Cardiology has recognized UF Health Leesburg Hospital for its demonstrated expertise and commitment in treating patients with chest pain by awarding a Chest Pain Center Accreditation with Primary PCI and Resuscitation - its highest and best level of accreditation. The hospital also offers world-class orthopaedics, minimally invasive robotic-assisted surgery, lifesaving emergency care, stroke treatment, labor & delivery, and so much more. Responsibilities Under the direction of the Director/Manager/ Charge Nurse/ and RNs, the CVOR Surgical Technologist is responsible for providing an aseptic environment within the perioperative arena. Surgical conscience is of the utmost importance. Must be well versed in the basics of routine surgical and diagnostic cases. This is a full time, day shift position eligible for a sign on bonus.
On call required.
Qualifications Education: - Post High School Special Training Licensure/Certification/Registration: - Surgical Technology Certification required or LPN license - BLS
-CVOR experience highly preferred
