The Senior Implementation Coordinator is responsible for leading the successful implementation of new clients, products, and strategic initiatives from project kickoff through stabilization. This role serves as a senior subject matter expert within the Implementation Team, managing complex implementations, driving cross-functional collaboration, mentoring team members, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations.

The Senior Implementation Coordinator partners closely with Account Management, Sales, Network Operations, Claims Operations, Technology, Product, and external vendors to ensure a seamless implementation experience while supporting continuous process improvement.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead complex and strategic client implementations from contract execution through post-go-live stabilization.
• Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project plans, implementation timelines, and deliverables.
• Coordinate implementation activities across internal departments, TPAs, vendors, clients, brokers, consultants, and other external stakeholders.
• Facilitate implementation meetings, document action items, and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding tasks.
• Monitor project milestones, identify risks, and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
• Serve as the primary implementation lead for assigned strategic clients and high-profile projects.
• Ensure implementation deliverables are completed accurately and within established timelines.
• Coordinate readiness activities, including data validation, testing, provider configuration, fee schedule implementation, reporting, and operational readiness.
• Partner with Account Management to ensure a seamless transition from implementation to ongoing client management.
• Provide regular project status updates to leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Mentor and provide day-to-day guidance to Implementation Coordinators, sharing knowledge, best practices, and implementation standards.
• Assist with onboarding and training new team members.
• Support the development, documentation, and continuous improvement of implementation processes, templates, and standard operating procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and client experience.
• Assist leadership with implementation resource planning and workload prioritization.
• Serve as an escalation point for implementation issues and coordinate cross-functional resolution.
• Maintain accurate implementation documentation, project trackers, and client records.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Education & Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare implementation, project management, account management, or healthcare operations experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority.

Preferred

• Experience with health plans, TPAs, provider networks, or healthcare reimbursement.
• Experience implementing network, claims, or payment integrity solutions.
• Knowledge of healthcare claims processing, provider contracting, reimbursement methodologies, and implementation best practices.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management training.

Physical Requirements

Reporting Relationship

Reports to the Implementation and Project Manager.
