Senior Manager, Finance Strategy & Business Operations

The Senior Manager, Finance Strategy & Business Operations serves as the principal strategic and operational advisor to the Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer & Corporate Controller, helping drive the effectiveness of the global Finance organization. This role is responsible for integrating Finance strategy with day‑to‑day business operations by providing executive decision support, governing the Finance initiative portfolio, developing organizational performance insights, coordinating executive communications, and improving operational effectiveness. The position enables Finance leadership to make informed decisions, effectively prioritize resources, and successfully execute the organization's strategic objectives. Working collaboratively across Corporate Finance, Accounting, Shared Services, Finance Transformation & Enablement, and Segment and Business Unit Finance teams, this role serves as the operational integrator for the Finance organization—connecting strategy, execution, organizational performance, and governance. Key Responsibilities Maintain visibility into the Finance portfolio of strategic, operational, technology, compliance, and business‑led initiatives. Facilitate prioritization and sequencing of initiatives based on strategic alignment, business value, organizational capacity, and resource availability. Identify competing priorities, resource constraints, and cross‑functional impacts across Finance. Coordinate portfolio reviews and provide executive reporting on initiative status, risks, and organizational capacity. Conduct research and develop business cases, benchmarking, and recommendations to support strategic decision‑making. Prepare executive presentations, briefing materials, and leadership communications. Attend meetings on behalf of the Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer & Corporate Controller, as appropriate, and ensure follow‑up on key decisions and action items. Business Operations & Organizational Effectiveness Coordinate key Finance leadership activities, including town halls, leadership meetings, and strategic planning sessions. Develop and maintain Finance performance dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and benchmarking. Monitor Accounting Operations performance and organizational health, including workload capacity, attrition, staffing trends, and key operational metrics. Support financial management of the Finance organization by monitoring budgets, forecasts, headcount, and total cost of Finance, including Corporate Finance, Shared Services, Captive Centers, and Managed Service Providers. Develop executive reporting that provides meaningful insights into Finance performance, organizational effectiveness, and opportunities for continuous improvement. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. MBA and/or CPA preferred. Experience 8–12 years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Operations, Strategy, Consulting, or Program Management. Experience supporting executive leadership and leading cross‑functional initiatives. Demonstrated ability to influence across organizations without direct authority. Strong analytical, organizational, and executive communication skills. Experience developing executive reporting, KPIs, and performance metrics. Technical Skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Outlook. Experience with Microsoft Copilot or other AI‑enabled productivity tools. Experience using business intelligence and visualization platforms such as Power BI, Sigma, or Tableau. Familiarity with project portfolio management and collaboration tools.
