Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images in accordance with safety standards.
Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures.
Adhere to all regulatory and safety guidelines, including infection control protocols.
Collaborate with medical staff to ensure diagnostic accuracy and patient care.
Perform routine maintenance and calibration of radiologic equipment.
Qualifications:
Hold current certification and registration as a Radiology Technologist by the ARRT.
Possess a valid radiologic technologist license issued by the NYSDOH.
Have at least one year of general radiographer experience.
Successfully complete an appropriate radiologic technologist training program, including military training if applicable.
Maintain BLS certification (preferred).
Exhibit strong technical skills and attention to detail.
