Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with at least 2 years of experience for a Level II Trauma Center, open to first-time travelers with 2+ years of experience.
Details
- 13-week assignment at a Level II Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center with 411 beds
- Primary location with possible rotation to an outpatient imaging center
- 40 hours per week, variable shift schedule
- Weekend rotation required every other weekend
- Call rotation required
- May float between main campus and outpatient imaging center
- Uses Cerner EMR
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Sonography required
- BLS certification required
- ARDMS certification in AB or OB required, both preferred
- Adult patient experience required; pediatric experience preferred
- Compact or Maine state license required if applicable
Additional Information
- Support provided by Lead Tech and Physician team on the unit
- First-time travelers will be considered if they have 2+ years of employment experience
- RTO requires manager approval
- Scrubs must be any solid professional color, or facility-provided if needed
- Free parking available
- Candidates must live 100+ miles South/Southwest of the facility
- Candidates who have previously worked in a permanent capacity at any Northern Light Health Hospital will not be considered
