b Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Lathe Machinist to operate and maintain CNC lathes to produce precision parts and components according to detailed specifications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC lathes, ensuring that each part meets quality standards and specifications. Attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings are essential for this role.Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC lathe machines, including configuring tooling, fixtures, and settings for different workpieces.Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files to determine machining requirements.Program CNC lathe machines using G-code and other programming languages to produce precise parts.Inspect finished parts for conformance to specifications using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to optimize performance and quality.Perform routine maintenance on CNC lathe machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.Troubleshoot and resolve any machining or equipment issues as they arise.Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and company policies.Maintain accurate records of work completed, including production data and maintenance logs.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve production processes and ensure timely delivery of parts.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or apprenticeship in machining is preferred.Proven experience as a CNC lathe machinist or similar role.Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.Strong understanding of G-code programming and CNC machine operations.Experience with CNC lathes (e.g., Haas, Okuma, or similar brands) and familiarity with CNC software.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong mathematical skills and ability to measure parts accurately.Knowledge of materials, tooling, and machining processes.Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.Comfortable working with machinery in a manufacturing environment.Additional Information:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for career advancement and skill development.
