Field Operations Supervisor



Alexandria, LA

Pay: $18/hr training $22/hr after certification



Schedule: Part-time, 2-3 days/week


A local company is seeking a Field Operations Supervisor to oversee daily boat operations, coordinate field crews, and support aquatic project work. Training and all certification materials are provided.


Key Responsibilities

  • Crew Oversight - Supervise 6-10 field employees and coordinate 3-4 work boats.
  • Project Coordination - Communicate daily with LDWF and provide updates on routes, schedules, and operations.
  • Field Work - Operate or supervise aquatic spraying; work safely in varying weather.
  • GPS & Technology - Use computer systems and GPS for navigation, tracking, and documentation.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Basic computer/GPS experience
  • Leadership or boating experience preferred (training available)
  • Valid driver's license preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Work from a boat up to eight hours
  • Lift up to 50 lbs
  • Work outdoors in hot, cold, humid, or adverse conditions
