Your Contributions Will Include

• Executing thorough patient evaluations, requesting diagnostic tests, and constructing personalized treatment plans
• Assessing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or autonomously (based on credentialing)
• Instructing patients and families on preventive care, wellness strategies, and managing their health concerns
• Prescribing treatments and medications in your area of practice

What You Need to Succeed

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain this within 90 days)
