Cardiovascular Technologist - OR CVOR Tech
Location: Hilo, Hawaii, United States

Duration: 13 weeks
Weekly pay: 1,401–1,515 per week
Shift: 16 hours rotating
Setting: hospital operating room with multiple CV/OR services

Job notes: This assignment requires Hawaii licensure by start. Vacation time or time off may impact schedule. Shifts and department needs may cause variability; orientation on day shift may occur for up to one week.

- Busy OR environment with multiple procedure types and 24/7 call expectations

Responsibilities
- Scrub for a range of procedures independently, including General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Assist with turnover cleaning and transport of patients as needed
- Maintain sterile technique and OR safety standards; support room setup and instrument processing
- Participate in a 24/7 call schedule (average 1–2 calls per week, up to 2 weekends per month; 20-minute call back time)
- Orient on day shift for up to one week or per manager discretion
- Meet a contract requirement to complete a minimum of 39 shifts during the assignment if time-off requests are made

Requirements
- Hawaii state license required by start of assignment; applicants not currently licensed in Hawaii must apply upon acceptance
- Minimum 2 years of scrubbing experience in a hospital setting
- Ability to scrub across requested procedure types listed in the job notes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced OR environment with rotating shifts and call responsibilities
- Prior CVOR or OR scrub experience is preferred
- Traveler must be able to arrive the Thursday before start for mandatory employee health clearance
