Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU

NICU RN – Level 4 NICU
Shift length: 12-hour shifts Weekend requirement: 12 weekend shifts per contract Contract Length: 10 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Requirements: 2 years of NICU experience at Level 4 Current license Certifications: BCLS/BLS, NRP EMR: Cerner Clinical skills: Ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BiPAP/PEEP) High Frequency Ventilation (conventional, oscillating, high frequency jet) High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) IV vasopressors Management of respiratory distress syndrome
Roles & Responsibilities: Provide nursing care to neonates and infants in a Level 4 NICU setting. Monitor and assess patient status, making appropriate adjustments to care plans as necessary. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Manage complex medical equipment and specialized therapies as required. Educate families regarding patient care and support in the NICU environment.
Compliance / Notes: Orientation: 12 hours Drug screen: required within 30 days of start Max 7 days RTO preferred; no RTO first 7 days or on last day of contract; 1 pre-approved time-off allowed Scrub color: Black
