Job Description Life Fitness is looking for a skilled Physical Therapist to provide coverage in our outpatient clinic. Assess patients and develop treatment plans based on evaluation results. Review physician referrals and medical records to determine required therapy. Provide direct patient care following established protocols. Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers. Supervise patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians. Create written plans of care, set goals, and develop comprehensive programs. Implement therapy programs and deliver essential treatments. Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurance companies. Ensure timely documentation: daily notes, workers' compensation reports, progress reports, evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports. Qualifications Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. Current Maryland state license and CPR certification. 1+ year’s experience in an outpatient orthopedic clinic preferred. Team player with energetic attitude and focus on excellent customer service. Strong interpersonal skills. Genuine caring nature, with interest in helping people. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Additional Information The anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,000–$95,000 ; eligibility for discretionary incentive compensation is also available.
