Opportunity Overview

Exciting Leadership Role in Anesthesiology Strategy & Development

• Our organization is in search of a motivated physician leader in Anesthesiology to influence the future of care delivery within our expanding anesthesia services. This role presents a unique chance to merge strategic leadership (0.5 aFTE) with flexible clinical practice (0.1-0.5 FTE) in a collaborative and growing environment.

• The ideal candidate should possess experience in collaborating with CRNAs and be prepared to develop and implement strategies for recruiting CRNAs as part of the anesthesia workforce .

Clinical Practice (0.1-0.5 FTE)

• Offers flexible, shift-based clinical opportunities across a wide geographic area.

• Practice settings include:

  • Acute care inpatient environments

  • Ambulatory Surgery Centers

• Possibility to work at various locations, including high-demand areas such as Davis and Elk Grove .

• Opportunity to align clinical responsibilities with personal location preferences.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Anesthesiology

• At least 5 years of clinical practice experience

• A minimum of 2 years in progressive medical group leadership and involvement in leadership development

• Experience in strategic planning and cross-specialty collaboration

• Strong business insight, including strategic planning and interdisciplinary collaboration

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities

• Capability to work effectively with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and other healthcare professionals

• Experience collaborating with CRNAs
