Senior Software Engineer

Role Description

This product is a high-performance AI image and video generation platform built primarily for developers. It delivers ultra-low output latency of just 190 milliseconds, functioning as a cloud-based inference engine that removes the need for costly local GPU setups. Instead, it provides scalable API access to more than 50 AI models—both open-source and closed-source—making powerful AI generation accessible without heavy infrastructure investments.

We are looking for a Software Engineer, who is motivated to grow in an ML direction, to strengthen the team, and the product.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Development
• Ability to ship high-quality code quickly and reliably
• Ability to break down and solve hard problems from foundational principles
• Willingness and ability to learn machine learning rapidly, or to have hands-on experience with it
• Experience optimizing, testing, and integrating models from research to production
• Clean ergonomics, great documentation, and predictable behavior in API design
• Ranking outputs and understanding quality changes over time
• Familiarity with latest AI and agentic development tools
• Ability to read and apply ML research papers to practical work
• Self-managing, independent work approach
• Comfortable working 100% remote

Requirements

• Build systems that make company's image and video generation fast, reliable, and easy for developers
• Integrate frontier AI models from research into production
• Build developer APIs with clean ergonomics and predictable behavior
• Design evals and observability systems to rank outputs and track quality changes
• Improve distributed job scheduling for better throughput and latency
• Ship quickly in a highly practical, hands-on role

Nice to have

• Knowledge of throughput, latency, fairness, and cost considerations
• Experience with GPU optimization and inference
• Experience building APIs at large scale
• Strong history of contributing to open-source projects
• Experience with human-in-the-loop review systems
