Transplant Coordinator

Overview: This role serves as a key clinical resource and patient advocate, coordinating the complex care of patients with advanced lung disease from initial referral through transplant evaluation, selection, waitlisting, and transplantation. Facilitate multidisciplinary communication throughout evaluation process Responsibilities: Clinical management of general hepatology patients, transplant candidates and living donors from the time of referral through transplantation and beyond. Qualifications: Education Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Required Work Experience 2 years of nursing experience Required 2 years of critical care or procurement experience Preferred Licenses and Certifications RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required CCTC - Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator Preferred or CCTN - Certified Cardiothoracic Nurse within Cardiac Surgery Subspecialty Preferred or CCPC Preferred Business Unit : Company Name: Piedmont Atlanta Hospitalaa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
