Position: Principal Mobile Engineer (iOS) Duration: CTH Overvie wWe are seeking a highly experienced Principal Mobile Enginee r to serve as a strategic technical leader and subject matter expert across our mobile platforms. This is a high-impact individual contributor role (non-manager) responsible for shaping mobile strategy, defining architecture, and driving engineering excellence across the organization

• The ideal candidate combines deep hands-on expertise with the ability to influence at an enterprise level, partnering closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and executive leadership to deliver scalable, high-quality mobile experiences
• Key Responsibilitie

Lead the architecture, design, and development of mobile applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and security Define and drive mobile engineering strategy, standards, and best practices across the organization Serve as a technical authority on mobile platforms, influencing long-term direction and investment decisions Contribute hands-on coding (~50%) while guiding technical design, architecture, and implementation Ensure cross-platform consistency across iOS and Android ecosystems Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to align on roadmaps, UX standards, and business outcomes Drive improvements in mobile performance, reliability, and user experience Lead initiatives around CI/CD, observability, monitoring, and release processes Mentor engineers and elevate overall mobile engineering maturity Communicate technical strategy and recommendations to senior and executive stakeholders Leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and software delivery Required Qualification 10+ years of mobile development experience, with demonstrated principal-level impact Deep expertise in iOS development (Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine) Working knowledge of Android development (Kotlin, Android architecture components) Strong experience with mobile architecture, system design, and engineering best practices Proven track record of driving technical strategy and cross-team influence Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and DevOps tooling Familiarity with cloud-connected mobile architectures (AWS, Azure, etc.) Experience with analytics, monitoring, and performance optimization tools Strong understanding of APIs, mobile security, and authentication (e.g., OAuth2) Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage non-technical and executive audiences Preferred Qualification Experience building consumer-facing mobile application Background in fintech, payments, banking, or regulated industries Exposure to AI/ML or AI-enabled development workflow Experience with mobile analytics, crash reporting, and user behavior tracking Contributions to open-source projects or thought leadership in mobile engineering #J-18808-Ljbffr Dexian
