HVAC Services Technician

Job PostingDuties include troubleshooting, repairing and installing HVAC equipment and performing scheduled preventive maintenance. A high school diploma or equivalent, plus some college or vocational training in a related field, and two years of field experience in the HVAC service industry are required. Must have EPA-CFC Certification, a valid Texas driver's license and be able to respond to after-hours service calls concerning HVAC emergencies. Duties may involve access to sensitive Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS), which requires that a thorough background check be conducted. Candidates will be subject to a criminal history check. Must not have any criminal conviction above the grade of a Class B misdemeanor or any Class B misdemeanor within the past 10 years; other convictions may also be considered.PAY GRADE GG16 / FULL PAY RANGE $24.24 - $34.18 PER HOURCultureThe City of Irving's Capital Improvement Program (CIP) helps to improve the quality of life for Irving citizens through construction of facilities such as parks, trails, aquatic centers, and libraries.
