Electro‑Mechanical Controls Technician — Manufacturing

Sacramento, CA | $49.40–$50.39/hr | Temporary Assignment

Your Mission

Own troubleshooting for PLC-controlled production equipment
Restore and enhance electrical and control systems
Program and refine Allen‑Bradley PLC logic
Support automated machinery to keep output on target
Pinpoint and resolve electrical, mechanical, and automation issues
Leverage HMIs and SCADA tools, including FactoryTalk, RS Linx, and Stratix switches
Decipher and apply electrical schematics and blueprints
Install and commission new industrial equipment
Perform preventative maintenance routines
Drive continuous improvement activities
Act decisively to minimize downtime

What You’ll Bring

6+ years of industrial maintenance or controls experience
Exceptional electrical troubleshooting ability
Proven PLC troubleshooting skills
Experience with Allen‑Bradley ControlLogix or CompactLogix
HMI proficiency
Fluency with electrical schematics
Background in industrial manufacturing

Nice to Have

Food manufacturing experience
Hands-on work with automated production equipment
SCADA and FactoryTalk familiarity
Wonderware exposure
PID tuning experience
Forklift and scissor lift familiarity
Industrial instrumentation skills

Shifts & Opportunity

Day Shift: 4:00 AM start
Swing Shift: 2:30 PM start
Overtime: Available
