Description

• Conduct in-depth evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients utilizing both standardized tests and observational methods.
• Craft tailored treatment strategies that correspond to both immediate needs and long-range communication or swallowing goals.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions focusing on various aspects of speech, language, fluency, and swallowing.
• Work closely with a dedicated team of occupational therapists, physical therapists, nurses, physicians, and families to implement integrated care plans.
• Provide educational resources and guidance to patients and their families to extend progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
• Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and collaboration to stay abreast of industry advancements and best practices.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not currently ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
