Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - San Juan Regional Medical Center and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - San Juan Regional Medical Center.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Pediatric experience required. - Critical care, ICU, or ED experience required.

Required Credentials: - Area-specific competency exam required.

Unit Details: - Supports critical care, ICU, general respiratory modalities, trauma, rapid response team, and stroke team. - Occasional need for general pediatric care. - Patient population: newborn to geriatric. - Equipment includes PB980, Vapotherm, Parapac, Respironics BiPAP V60, Fischer Paykel Bubble CPAP, and Opti-Flow.

Shift & Scheduling: - Rotating weekends. - No call.

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
