Description: The facility is a 198-bed Level III trauma center. It provides healthcare services to the Four Corners region. The center offers a variety of medical, surgical, and rehabilitation services. The services include a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, and inpatient behavioral health unit. Extensive imaging and lab testing services are available. The facility has received multiple accreditations and awards. The location is known for its natural beauty, featuring rivers, lakes, and national parks. Residents enjoy opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking. The emergency department has 48 beds with flexible space. The patient ratios are 4:1 in the main emergency department and 6:1 in fast track. Healthcare equipment includes Zoll defibrillators and blood warmers. The electronic health record system used is Cerner. The patient population includes individuals with respiratory diseases, substance abuse disorders, and psychological conditions. Team nursing and a pod system are utilized within the department. A social worker is assigned to the department, along with a unit educator.
