Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring NM or compact RN licensure and ACLS certification.

Details

• Cardiology Cath Lab unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call requirement of 1-2 weekends per month, approximately 8-10 days per month
• No floating required
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Performs various Point of Care testing procedures
• Hospital scrubs provided

Requirements

• Current New Mexico RN license or compact state RN license
• BLS certification via AHA required
• ACLS certification via AHA required
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Cath Lab clinical experience required

Additional Information

• Coordinates and implements patient care specific to age of patient population served
• Performs patient assessments, reassessments, and develops individualized care plans
• Participates in patient and family health education and discharge planning
• Collaborates with team members and maintains effective communication across the care team
• Must reside within 50 miles for local candidate consideration
• Returning employees who previously worked at any CHRISTUS facility must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for a travel assignment
