Overview This opportunity is for physicians who want to practice independently while receiving structured operational support for the non‑clinical business functions of their own practice. Physicians own and operate their practice entity, while MedCBO provides non‑clinical business and operational support services. This is not an employed physician position. Physician Responsibilities Provide care within the physician’s specialty scope. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Coordinate payer credentialing with MedCBO participation as required. Determine clinical services offered. Manage clinical quality and patient experience. MedCBO Supports Revenue cycle management, coding, and payer contracting support. EHR, technology platform, telehealth, and clinical workflow systems. Credentialing, enrollments, and facility privileging coordination. Accounting, financial reporting, and practice financial infrastructure. HR administration, staffing workflows, and compliance support. Supply‑chain coordination and vendor management. Requirements MD or DO with an unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice. Board certified or board eligible in a specialty appropriate to the clinical services provided. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Community‑based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is not a salary and is generated by the physician‑owned practice.
