• Schedule: ASAP - Ongoing; No Call
• Job Setting: Inpatient
• Types of Cases:
  • Upper GI Endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, injection of varices)
  • ERCP - Diagnostic and Therapeutic
  • PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)
  • Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry
  • Esophageal Manometry Interpretation
  • Small Bowel Biopsy
  • Lower GI Endoscopy
  • Sigmoidoscopy - Flexible and Rigid
  • Colonoscopy (with biopsy, with excision of polyp)
  • Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
  • Liver Biopsy
  • Insertion/Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube
  • Rounding: Assigned Patients (up to 20 patients per shift)
  • Admissions Required
  • Supervision of Advanced Practice Providers Required
  • Resident/Teaching Supervision Required
• Credentialing: 60-90 days; Temporary privileges not available
• EMR System: Epic

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
• Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
• Licensure: Must be licensed in Georgia (GA) only; IMLC not accepted
