Job Brief Pharmacy Cashier Salem, OR Full time Exempt Status: Non‑exempt Offer Relocation?: No Position Highlights 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week) $18.35‑$22.48 per hour DOE with potential for higher pay for experienced candidates Additional pay for bilingual skills, paid on hours worked 100% employer‑paid health insurance, including medical, dental, vision, Rx, 24/7 telemedicine Profit sharing and 403(b) retirement plan available Generous PTO, 8 paid holidays, and more Responsibilities Answer phone, handle non‑professional inquiries and transfer calls Enter patient data and billing information into the system Deliver prescriptions to patients, verify medications, collect payment and signature Coordinate prescription counseling with the pharmacist as needed Maintain inventory awareness, place orders when stock below minimum levels, verify quantities, and submit orders to the wholesaler Verify product orders received against invoices and purchase orders, label items, and store properly Monitor and check expiration dates on drugs in stock Return or discard dispensed prescriptions if not picked up, recording information for reverse billing per state regulations Perform clinical responsibilities in alignment with The Joint Commission, HRSA, and YVFWC requirements Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Pre‑employment drug screen required after conditional offer Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking skills at level 9 Effective verbal and listening communication skills with a customer‑oriented approach Knowledge of medical terminology Administrative task performance: answering phones, filing, faxing, scanning, copying Teamwork in a fast‑paced environment Organizational skills with attention to detail while multitasking Basic knowledge of pharmacy workflows Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office; preference for pharmacy software experience Equal‑Opportunity Employer We celebrate inclusivity and are committed to equal‑opportunity employment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
