As a Data Architect in the Pharma domain, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing the data foundation for EpiCX. You will leverage your expertise in AWS data engineering tools and data architecture principles to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into robust data solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data models, data integration solutions, and data governance frameworks using industry best practices.
• Leverage AWS tools like Redshift, Glue, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, and Athena to build scalable and secure data pipelines.
• Lead data quality initiatives, including data profiling, cleansing, and validation, to ensure the trustworthiness of healthcare data assets.
• Architect and implement ETL processes for data warehousing using tools like Snowflake.
• Conduct architecture reviews of existing solutions, identifying areas for continuous improvement.
• Research, evaluate, and propose new data technologies and methodologies that can benefit the business.
• Drive the identification of the most suitable solutions through formal RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, collaborating with business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies in the Pharma domain.
• Champion best practices in data management and promote a collaborative data culture within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Proven experience using AWS data engineering tools (Glue, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, Athena).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Redshift, DynamoDB).
• Proficiency in data pipeline and workflow management tools (Talend, Airflow, Glue, etc.).
• Strong understanding of APIs and experience with producing and consuming them.
• Experience with big data technologies (PySpark, Python, SQL).
• Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines (bonus: knowledge of AWS Step Functions and Airflow (MWAA)).

Desired Skills (Nice to Have):

• Knowledge of data visualization tools (ThoughtSpot, QlikView).
• Experience with Data Monitoring and Orchestration tools like DBT Tool and DataDog.
• Experience managing a team of data engineers, including mentoring and developing junior team members.
