Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Elkridge, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.61 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Must be 21 years of age or older Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
