Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon05:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue05:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed05:00 PM - 11:00 PM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel while carrying out site‑specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, observe activity within the location, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established security‑related procedures. Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management. Minimum Requirements: A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
