Work you'll do
As a Profitability Costing Allocations Senior Manager, on the Business Finance team, you will be responsible for:
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders by identifying and addressing complex business issues and delivering service excellence across finance transformation engagementsLead responses to requests for proposals and other client opportunities by shaping solution approaches and guiding pursuit teamsLeverage AI enabled tools (e.g., Claude) to drive delivery transformationLead and oversee multiple project teams across large and complex engagements, ensuring the quality, consistency, and impact of deliverablesOversee and validate analyses to ensure recommendations align with client objectives, engagement priorities, and broader business contextLead the design and implementation of profitability, costing, and allocation methodologies while leveraging SAP Profitability and Performance Management / Oracle Profitability Cost Management (PCM) or other advanced analytics to deliver strategic insightsSteer the development and deployment of technology-enabled business solutions, including automation and machine learning, while managing and developing diverse teams through mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback

Within the Finance Transformation offering, our Business Finance team helps drive strategic value through financial planning, forecasting, and analytics capabilities. By leveraging next-gen processes, scalable data platforms, and AI, our team delivers accurate, timely, and actionable insights.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree10+ years of technical or advisory-related experience in profitability reporting, product or service costing, and cost allocations5+ years of direct people management experience leading teams on complex projects; 4+ years of experience overseeing multiple project teams, leading change initiatives in a project management role, and managing project or resource budgets4+ years of experience working with and managing data sets, including extracting and merging data from source systems, transforming data, and performing descriptive analytics; 3+ years of experience with SAP BW/4HANA, native SAP HANA modeling, or SAP Profitability and Performance Management; experience with SAP S/4HANA or Oracle Profitability Cost Management (PCM)2+ years of experience supporting pre-sales, proposals, and request for proposal activitiesAbility to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred:
Master of Business Administration, Master of Finance, Master of Accounting, or Master of EconomicsExperience advising finance or global business services leaders on operating model, process, data, or technology transformationExperience with artificial intelligence, automation, or digital finance use casesExperience with enterprise performance management, planning, or visualization tools such as Anaplan, OneStream, Workday, or TableauExperience developing business cases, key performance indicators, dashboards, or executive reportingCertified Public Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst, Charter Global Management Accountant, Certified Management Accountant or Project Management Professional certification
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $193,700 to $322,900.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
