About This Role The Registered Nurse Non-Acute at Hackensack Meridian Health functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population, focusing on achieving desired outcomes through effective direct care and coordination with an interdisciplinary team. Highlights Location: Edison, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Full-time What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease specific assessment/data collection independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team. Implement age and disease specific care in an organized manner. Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation. Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes. Requirements Education: BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire. Experience: Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs. Licenses & Certifications: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License. AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position.
