VHS is looking for an OB/GYN Hospitalist for Norwalk, Connecticut!
Program Details

Program Start Date: 10/2022
12 or 24 Hour Shifts: 24
Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: Yes Emergency GYN cases
Hospitalists Required to Perform Circumcisions:
Hospitalists Needed for First Assist: Yes
First Assist Available to the Hospitalists: Yes
Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: Yes
Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice: No
Backup Available to the Hospitalists: Yes (OB/GYN ED Call)

Hospital Details

NICU Level: III - Baby-Friendly Hospital
Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg.): 167
Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (monthly):
Estimated Patient Encounters for Hospitalists (not including deliveries) (monthly): 250
MFM onsite? Yes - 16-hrs per week outpatient (University of Rochester)
Residency Program & Type: Yes - Dental, Family Medicine, & Pharmacy
In-house Anesthesia: Yes
