Work Experience Mandatory:

• The Deputy Project Manager is mandatory Key Personnel and should demonstrate experience sufficient to support and back up the Project Manager in contract administration, staffing, resource management, task assignment, schedule/timeliness oversight, quality, issue resolution, Government coordination, subcontract management, and continuity of operations.
• DOE permits the Deputy PM to serve in a dual management role.

Education/Certifications Nice to Have:

• Project/program management credentials and relevant federal management training may strengthen the candidate but are not solicitation-mandated.

Work Experience Nice to Have:

• Preferred proposal-strength experience includes deputy/assistant program management of peer-level federal support programs, coordination of multidisciplinary teams, classified or sensitive operations, transition support, performance reporting, quality oversight, and direct support to a senior Project/Program Manager.

Roles And Responsibilities:

• Support the Project Manager in organizing, staffing, administering, and managing the DOE SPRPMO support effort.
• Act as management backup and maintain continuity when the PM is unavailable.
• Assist with resource allocation, staffing and task assignments, schedule and deliverable tracking, quality and issue management, corrective actions, Government communications, subcontractor coordination, personnel administration, and integration across all PWS functional areas.
• If proposed in a dual management role, also perform the responsibilities of that assigned function and maintain any required clearance.
