Community Manager [Remote]

Role Overview

Shape a welcoming, collaborative online community by providing responsive customer support, moderating discussions, and resolving issues with empathy and professionalism. This remote role supports communities involved in improving AI systems through expert feedback, evaluations, and training data.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and moderate online communities to maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
• Respond promptly to member questions and customer concerns.
• De-escalate conflicts and help maintain constructive group interactions.
• Develop proactive engagement approaches that encourage an active, vibrant community.
• Share community feedback and insights with internal teams.
• Manage multiple conversations and tasks effectively in a remote setting.
• Create clear, friendly written and verbal communications across channels.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in customer support and online community moderation.
• Experience managing and engaging communities on platforms such as Discord and Reddit.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an empathetic and clear communication style.
• Strong conflict-management and de-escalation skills.
• A proactive, self-directed approach to problem-solving and supporting community needs.
• Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to multitask under pressure.
• Adaptability and willingness to go the extra mile for community members.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing large-scale online communities.
• Familiarity with multiple community platforms and CRM tools.
• A passion for building lasting relationships and positive user experiences.

Work Terms

• Full-time, remote role for candidates located in Latin America.

Compensation

• $15 to $20 per hour.
