Physician - Cardiology - Regional Leader of Cardiology - East

Regional Leader of Cardiology – East Region Job Overview Seeking a physician to lead cardiology services in Martinsburg, WV, with possible service at additional sites in WV, MD, PA. Location Martinsburg, West Virginia (with travel to other sites as needed). Key Responsibilities Oversee cardiology services at four clinical sites: Berkeley Medical Center, Jefferson Hospital, Potomac Valley Hospital, and the Winchester outpatient clinic. Provide inpatient and outpatient care as part of a team of 8 cardiologists (5 interventional, 3 noninvasive). Collaborate with the on‑site administrative leader to expand cardiology services, including programs in electrophysiology, heart failure, and structural heart interventions. Teach medical students, residents, and fellows at the Eastern Campus of the WVU School of Medicine. Recruit talent and foster a collaborative environment to promote continuous growth and improvement. Maintain clinical and academic duties with a 0.75 clinical FTE and 0.25 administrative FTE. Qualifications MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and eligibility for a West Virginia medical license. Completed a cardiology fellowship program. Board certified or eligible in Cardiology. Minimum 5 years of clinical experience; preferred prior leadership experience. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment. Schedule & Compensation 40 hours per week. Exempt.
