This role primarily involves night shifts with 12-hour rotations, delivering expert care in a dynamic environment within the Pacific Northwest region. Key Responsibilities:
- Administer emergency respiratory interventions including artificial respiration and cardiopulmonary resuscitation assistance.
- Monitor patients' physiological responses such as vital signs, arterial blood gases, and blood chemistry, collaborating with physicians when adverse reactions arise.
- Perform diagnostic tests including arterial blood gases (ABGs) and electrocardiograms (EKGs).
- Operate and manage respiratory devices like high flow oxygen systems, BiPAP, mechanical ventilators, aerosol generators, and environmental control systems according to prescribed treatment parameters.
- Provide training and support to clinical staff within your area of expertise.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and assist with medical procedures.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and ensure accurate documentation in both written and electronic formats.
- Associate degree from an accredited Respiratory Care Program is required.
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC.
- State Respiratory Therapist license applicable to the Pacific Northwest region.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Experience in critical care settings is essential.
- Adherence to all regulatory and licensing requirements.
- Dependability in attendance and timely completion of assigned duties.

- Excellent communication skills, demonstrating courtesy, respect, and helpfulness toward patients, visitors, and colleagues.
