Your Role in Our Community

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging, tailored to diverse patient needs.
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout the examination process, clearly communicating each step to put them at ease.
• Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment efficiently, troubleshooting any issues that arise to keep workflows seamless.
• Document all procedures accurately and manage patient records within our electronic medical records system.
• Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices to enhance your skills continuously.

What You Need to Succeed

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited ultrasound program.

Certification Requirements

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent recognized body.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
