E-Commerce Manager

We are working with a fast-growing pet products company, offering a curated range of food, toys, accessories, health, and wellness products for pets and their owners across the United States. We're passionate about helping pets live happier, healthier lives, and we sell through our own online store as well as major marketplaces. About the Role We are looking for a results-driven E-commerce Manager to own and grow our online sales channels. Based in the Eastn Coast of United States, this role will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of our e-commerce platform(s), driving traffic, conversion, and customer retention across our website and marketplace channels (Amazon, Chewy, Walmart Marketplace, etc.). You'll work closely with marketing, supply chain, customer service, and product teams to deliver a seamless online shopping experience and hit ambitious growth targets in the competitive pet products category. Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end performance of the e-commerce website, including sales, conversion rate, average order value, and customer retention Develop and execute the e-commerce growth strategy across owned site and marketplace channels (Amazon, Chewy, Walmart Marketplace, etc.) Manage day-to-day site operations: product listings, merchandising, pricing, promotions, and content Work with the marketing team to plan and execute digital campaigns (SEO, SEM, email, paid social) that drive qualified traffic Analyze site and sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization (e.g. A/B testing, checkout funnel improvements) Manage relationships with platform providers, marketplace account managers, and third-party agencies Oversee inventory visibility and coordinate with supply chain/warehouse teams to ensure stock accuracy and timely fulfillment Monitor competitor activity and pet industry e-commerce trends to keep the business ahead of the curve Own the online customer experience, working with customer service to resolve issues and improve satisfaction Report regularly on KPIs, sales performance, and campaign ROI to senior leadership Ensure compliance with US consumer protection, data privacy (e.g. CCPA), and payment security standards About You 3-5+ years' experience in e-commerce management, ideally within retail, CPG, or pet products/related consumer categories Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Shopify Plus, Magento, or similar) and marketplace selling (Amazon Seller/Vendor Central, Chewy, Walmart Marketplace, etc.) Strong analytical skills with experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and marketplace reporting dashboards Solid understanding of digital marketing fundamentals (SEO, SEM, email marketing, paid social) Proven ability to manage budgets and deliver against sales and growth targets Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment A genuine interest in pets and the pet care industry is a plus Bachelor's degree in Marketing, E-commerce, Business, or a related field preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
