Position Description: INVENTORY SPECIALIST/WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Inventory Specialist/Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to receiving, storing, and shipping goods in a warehouse setting in addition to restocking and counting inventory. This role prioritizes inventory flow with an addition to other warehouse roles. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth operations and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Main Key Responsibilities:
•\tTracking inventory levels – making sure counts are accurate at all times.
•\tUpdating inventory systems – logging items in SamPro.
•\tConducting cycle counts & audits – regular physical counts to catch discrepancies
•\tInvestigating shortages or overages – figuring out what went wrong and fixing it
•\tCoordinating with the team – warehouse and procurement
•\tOrganizing storage areas – keeping the warehouse and inventory clean and efficient
•\tPick, stage, and organize materials for outgoing jobs based on daily schedules and priorities
•\tComplete truck inventory audits/cycle counts – ensure vehicles are clean/presentable prior to dispatching back to technician
•\tStock technician trucks with predetermined inventory per stocking list
Additional Responsibilities:
•\tOperate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and related tools
•\tReordering stock – flagging low inventory and helping prevent stockouts
•\tPreparing inventory reports – sharing insights on usage, trends, and needs
•\tSupporting loss prevention – helping reduce waste, damage, or theft
Requirements:
•\tPrevious experience in a warehouse inventory role is preferred
•\tAbility to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand for extended periods
•\tStrong attention to detail and organizational skills
•\tExcellent communication and teamwork abilities
•\tAbility to operate warehouse machinery (training provided if necessary)
•\tBasic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting
•\tPrevious forklift operator experience a plus- will provide certification and training if needed
