Field Service Engineer, 2nd shift

Job Type: Full-Time (2nd shift) – Monday toFriday, 2pm to 10:30pm. Activity: Industry, heavy machinery, automation. Technical assistance, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. What you develop: Support our client with the maintenance of his APCO designed and manufactured machines including troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of specialized mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems/components. What you bring: 2-5 years of facilities/machine maintenance experience. Possess an associate degree or similar level. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics. Must have a good understanding of electrical systems to include 480 volt and below including various control voltage. Must be self-sufficient - able to work under minimal supervision, fast-thinking and pro-active. Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean criminal record. Good physical condition: ability to carry up to 50 pounds (tool box or parts) up to 50 feet. Nice to have: Knowledge of hydraulic system component diagnostics, repair and failure analysis of valves, stacks, pistons, and rams in excess of 5000 PSI operating pressure. Strong customer service, interpersonal and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and quality.
