IT Support Tech / IT Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Support Tech / IT Coordinator for a direct hire opportunity with a respected construction organization supporting industrial facilities and infrastructure operations in Bellevue, WA. This is a full-time, 100% onsite role for a hands-on technology professional who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and supporting both office and field teams.

This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants more than a basic help desk role. You will serve as the primary onsite IT resource for Washington operations while partnering with a larger established IT team for mentorship, escalation support, and long-term technical growth. Key Responsibilities

- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support for office employees, field personnel, and users with varying levels of technical experience.
- Manage company-issued cell phones, tablets, iPads, laptops, desktops, printers, monitors, and related peripherals.
- Support Microsoft 365, Windows 10 and Windows 11, user accounts, collaboration tools, conference room technology, and general connectivity issues.
- Configure, deploy, troubleshoot, replace, and track mobile devices while maintaining accurate inventory and lifecycle documentation.
- Support construction field technology, including tablets and mobile equipment used on active job sites, with occasional local site visits.
- Improve documentation, organize technology assets, support equipment refresh projects, and identify opportunities to improve IT processes.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Provide day-to-day Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support for office and field users.
- Manage mobile devices, including phones, tablets, iPads, and related cellular technology.
- Maintain IT assets, prepare equipment for new hires, and support hardware troubleshooting and replacements.
- Contribute to documentation, process improvement, equipment refreshes, and broader IT initiatives.

- 2+ years of IT Support, Desktop Support, Help Desk, Service Desk, or IT Coordinator experience preferred.
- Experience supporting and managing company-issued mobile devices, including cell phones, tablets, iPads, iPhones, and Android devices.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, network, VPN, and connectivity issues.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and the ability to document support activity accurately.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to support non-technical users patiently and professionally.
- Reliable work history demonstrating professionalism, accountability, attendance, and follow-through.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to take initiative when ticket volume is light.
- Comfortable working onsite and occasionally supporting employees in the field.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Microsoft Intune or other Mobile Device Management platforms.
- Familiarity with Azure, Active Directory, Windows Server, endpoint security tools, cloud applications, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting construction, field services, industrial, or distributed workforce environments.
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Home lab, PC building, internship, volunteer, military, school, or nonprofit IT experience for strong early-career candidates.
- Interest in growing into junior systems administration, networking, infrastructure, or project-based IT responsibilities.
