Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Locums Wilmington, North CarolinaAvailability
Start Date: October 1, 2026 Assignment Length: Ongoing Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Call: 2nd Call / Backup Only Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
Required Licenses- Active North Carolina Medical License
- BLS Certification
- PM&R Fellowship
- Inpatient Rehabilitation
- No Outpatient Responsibilities
- EMR: Epic
- Trauma Level II Facility
- Manage up to 33 inpatient rehabilitation patients
- Average patient volume of approximately 30 patients per shift
- Supervise 3-4 APPs
- Lead interdisciplinary team conferences
- Provide care for patients with primarily neurologic diagnoses, including:
- Stroke
- Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
- Participate in a consultation service with 25-40 patients
- Admissions required
- Assigned rounding patients
- Active NC license
- PM&R fellowship trained
- BLS certified
- Available to start October 2026
- Interested in an ongoing locums assignment
- Comfortable with inpatient rehabilitation medicine
- Experience treating stroke and TBI patients
- Comfortable supervising APPs
- Experience leading multidisciplinary team conferences
- Familiar with Epic EMR
- Open to weekday schedule with backup call coverage
