Job Overview Scrum Master – Marketing Strategy, Consumer Markets Division (CMD) – Pacific Life. Responsible for driving the successful execution of marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives across annuity and life insurance product lines. Responsibilities Facilitate team collaboration, optimize processes, and ensure campaign and project work moves efficiently from concept to delivery. Lead and serve as a process champion for campaign scrum teams, removing roadblocks and keeping projects moving forward. Partner closely with campaign strategists, project owners, and cross‑functional stakeholders to bring structure, clarity, and momentum to a fast‑paced marketing environment. Support the Marketing Campaign Manager in preparing calendars, roadmaps, schedules, documentation, and stakeholder communications. Lead cross‑functional teams in applying best practices to stay organized, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively. Manage task lists, meetings, communications, risks, and action items to maintain project health and visibility. Prepare concise updates and summaries for leadership and stakeholders throughout the campaign lifecycle. Schedule and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming. Monitor team progress and performance, identifying opportunities for improvement or celebrating milestones. Encourage a culture of learning, experimentation, and continuous improvement. Maintain and update the CMD Marketing Strategy Roadmap in collaboration with leadership and the Strategy team. Create and manage dashboards and reports that provide visibility into campaign progress, metrics, RAID logs, and retrospective actions. Lead the Strategy Project Review process, guiding new requests through Marketing Operations workflows. Design and maintain intuitive visual workflows and training materials that clarify project intake paths and execution steps. Manage and consolidate Monday.com boards to streamline campaign and initiative tracking. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in a Scrum Master or Agile project‑management role, preferably in marketing, creative, or strategy‑focused environments. Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and experience applying them in practical, flexible ways. Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex marketing projects. Skilled in tools such as Monday.com or similar project‑management platforms. Excellent communicator and facilitator with strong organizational instincts. Comfortable navigating ambiguity, solving problems, and bringing order to chaos. Experience in financial services or insurance is a plus, but not required. Certifications that strengthen competence: PMP (Project Management Professional), Monday.com Work Management certification, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A‑CSM). Compensation and Benefits This role offers a base pay range of $113,490.00 – $138,710.00, depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Candidates may also be eligible for additional incentive pay.
