Pharmacy Technician - Mashpee, MA

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to support a 200-bed community hospital located on Cape Cod, approximately 70 miles south of Boston. This role involves working primarily day shifts with an 8-hour schedule, providing essential pharmacy services within a hospital setting.


Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding according to established protocols
• Restock and manage inventory in Pyxis automated dispensing units
• Support pharmacy operations utilizing EPIC electronic health record systems
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards within the pharmacy department

Qualifications:

• Valid Massachusetts Pharmacist license required
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of sterile and non-sterile compounding techniques
• Familiarity with Pyxis medication management systems and EPIC software is essential
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a healthcare team

Schedule:

• Day shifts
• 8-hour shifts
