The facility operates Monday through Friday and offers a collaborative, supportive environment focused on delivering comprehensive family and internal medicine care to both pediatric and adult patients. Opportunity: Physician (MD) - Internal Medicine Job Details: Provide comprehensive primary care services in a Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm outpatient setting Minimum of 18 patient encounters per day required Serve a mixed patient population of pediatric and adult patients Includes some Chronic Pain Management Chart closure required within 72 hours Active California medical license required Board Certified required; DO candidates will be accepted Board Eligible will be considered if within 5 years or less since residency completion Active DEA required before start date BLS certification required Providers must be ORP (order, referring and prescribing) enrolled in MediCal or willing to enroll during credentialing Candidate CVs must include month and date on all work experience with all employment gaps accounted for Credentialing timeframe is typically 30-90 days; approximately six weeks when documents are submitted timely Required immunizations before start date: Flu Vaccine, TB Status/X-Ray Results (within 90 days of start date), Positive MMR Titer or Complete Immunization Series, Positive Hep B Titer or Complete Immunization Series, Positive Varicella Zoster Titer or Complete Immunization Series, and Tdap Immunization (within the last 10 years) A 30-day notice is required for ending all assignments Nearest airport: ACV - Arcata Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
