This full-time day position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' neurological health in a vibrant regional healthcare setting in the Southeastern United States.Key Responsibilities:Assist in patient assessments and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.Deliver direct nursing care tailored to patients' age-specific physiological needs, following established care protocols.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records to ensure continuity of care.Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and monitor patient responses.Promote a safe clinical environment by recognizing and responding to life-threatening situations promptly.Engage in ongoing performance improvement initiatives to enhance quality of care.Support patients' cultural and spiritual practices within the scope of medical treatment.Contribute to cost containment efforts and ensure accurate billing for services rendered.Education and Training:High school diploma or equivalent required. Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a Compact state or the relevant regional licensure is mandatory.Experience:No prior work experience required; however, strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.Skills and Abilities:Effective verbal and written communication skills.Understanding of age-specific physiological and psychosocial patient needs.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.Visual and auditory acuity necessary for patient observation and communication.Additional Information:This role may involve exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials.
