Senior Accountant Accounting

Immediate Senior Accountant position available! We are currently representing a well-established client in the manufacturing industry seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Finance team on a direct hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, hands-on environment and partnering closely with leadership to support financial reporting, process improvements, and business growth.

Location: Kennesaw, GA 30144 Hours/Day: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM (On-Site- WFH on Fridays) Salary/Benefits: Competitive base salary, annual bonus, profit sharing, medical/dental/vision benefits

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable functions, including new vendor setup, invoice processing, and vendor payments.
• Maintain customer receivable accounts and ensure financial exposure is properly managed.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of company expenses.
• Oversee all aspects of fixed asset accounting and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate inventory values and support inventory-related accounting processes.
• Prepare financial and analytical reports to support business decisions.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
• Support the Controller with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Prepare documentation and schedules for year-end audits.
• Assist with the development and implementation of accounting procedures, controls, and process improvements.
• Provide financial guidance and support to cross-functional departments regarding accounting impacts and procedures.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records and ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
• Support management with special projects, reporting, and financial analysis.
• Maintain effective communication across departments to support company objectives and accounting initiatives.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, accounting software, and ERP systems.
• Ability to analyze and manipulate large amounts of data.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team-based environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of an organization.
