Compensation: Orientation - $350/hr, 24 Hour On Call - $4285 per 24 hours,

Call Back - $390/hr.

Coverage Dates

December 24-28, 2026 – First Priority

OR

December 28, 2026-January 4, 2027

Candidates Must Be Available for at Least One of the Above Coverage Blocks

Expected Coverage: 4-7 Shifts Per Month

Schedule

24-Hour Coverage

Shift Hours: 7:00 AM-7:00 AM

Patient / Surgical Volume

Average CT Surgical Cases: 1-2 Per Day

Annual Emergency Department Volume: Approximately 30,000

Provide Adult Cardiac Surgery – Required

Provide ICU Management for High-Risk Cardiac Surgery Patients

Provide Structural Heart Procedure Support in the Hybrid OR / Cath Lab

Provide Medical Management of Critically Ill Patients

General Thoracic Surgery Coverage Preferred

Radial Artery Revascularization

Redo Cardiac Cases

Heart Valve Repair

Impella Insertion

First Assist With Endoscopic Saphenous Vein Harvest Experience

Requirements

Board Certified – Required

BLS – Required

Kentucky License – Preferred

Candidates Needing to Obtain a Kentucky License May Be Considered

Clean Background – Required

Adult Cardiac Surgery Experience – Required

Impella Insertion / Removal / Bailout Experience – Required

Structural Heart Support in Hybrid OR / Cath Lab – Required

Heavy Cardiac Surgery Experience – Required

Thoracic Surgery Experience – Preferred, Not Required

Must Be Available for at Least One Listed Coverage Block
