Job Description

The Mother Baby Unit is a nurturing environment dedicated to providing excellent care to new mothers and their newborns. The unit consists of 34 private couplet rooms and is supported by a highly qualified staff, including 78 dedicated professionals focused on patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for postpartum mothers and their newborns.
• Assist with typical procedures such as circumcisions.
• Monitor patient conditions and manage medications, including Magnesium Sulfate post-delivery.
• Utilize Alaris pumps and Bilirubin blankets/lights as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to create a supportive environment for patient education and care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a valid RN license.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Previous Mother Baby experience is essential.
• Travel experience and STABLE certification are preferred.
