Together, we pursue a shared mission to create a more sustainable future.Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician will perform proper diagnosis of any malfunctioning machinery, general repairs, install new equipment and systems, and perform a preventive maintenance program on all assigned machinery as directed by the supervisor.Duties & Responsibilities:Follow good housekeeping practices by keeping maintenance and tool storage area neat and clean as well as timely cleanup of work area after each job is completedInstall new equipment or rearrange existing equipmentIs available on call for emergency repairs as needed to keep plant in good running orderMaintain preventative maintenance records and perform preventative maintenance on plant and road equipmentOther duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Computer proficientShows initiativeProblem-solving skillsReliable and thoroughAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility and willingness to perform physical duties such as lifting, climbing, working at elevated heights, and manual dexterityAbility and willingness to work in a range of environmentsEducation & Experience:Required:High School Diploma, G.E.D., Home School Certification, or international equivalent to High School DiplomaMinimum of 1 year of PVC plumbing OR mechanical repair and maintenance work experience or trainingElectrical panelboard experienceMotor Controls experiencePositive displacement pump repair experiencePreferred:Trade school experience for electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and/or mechanical repair is highly desiredAt least 1 year of electrical installation, repair, and maintenance work experience, including electronic troubleshooting, PLC programming, and 480V 3 Phase electrical repair and maintenance experienceElectrical CertificationWorking Conditions:Travel for field repair and installation if neededPhysical duties include lifting, climbing, working at elevated heights, and manual dexterityWork environments may include, but are not limited to, industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities, and power industry facilitiesJoin a company that values Responsibility, Solidarity, Innovation, Customer Focus, and Respect.
