Vetco Clinic Lead

This position serves as the field team lead and provides functional direction to field staff and serves as the primary point of escalation for customer, veterinary or store partner issues. The role also drives company vehicles to vaccination clinics and is responsible for overall performance and operational compliance of the day’s clinics. Essential Job Functions Provide functional direction and supervision to the field team. Effectively perform functions of all clinic team roles and provide coaching and functional direction where necessary. Safely operate company‑supplied vehicle to and from clinic locations and office when assigned as driver. Lift up to 40 lbs as required. Effectively communicate with customers and business partners to manage difficult customer situations, including pet incidents. Serve as primary point of contact for the Market Manager on clinic‑related issues. Liaise and partner with clinic leadership to determine optimal clinic location, crowd‑management practices, and manage any arising issues. Ensure all clinic processes are followed and all necessary paperwork is completed accurately. Facilitate a sales environment among the team by leading targeted discussions during daily commutes. Other Duties and Responsibilities Ensure proper handling of all revenues for the day, including deposit to safe or bank. Assist customers in completing paperwork for clear, accurate medical records. Manage crowd, clean up pet waste, and communicate with customers regarding disruptive pets. Offer available discounts to win customers experiencing unpleasant experiences. Manage and assist with loading and unloading equipment and supplies from the company vehicle safely. Assist in training new partners in accordance with the training plan. Understand and communicate vet medical recommendations, booster schedules, and products. Communicate with store management to build cooperation and business success. At conclusion of clinic, present report card and site report to the Market Manager. Obtain the gross sales receipt or SKU movement report from the Market Manager. Confirm the clinic area is clean prior to departure, ensuring no trash, sharps, or supplies are left behind. Notify store in advance if the clinic team is running late. Reconcile all equipment and supplies at the end of the clinic and day. Escalate clinic issues to Market Manager, Store Manager, and/or Vetco Customer Service for resolution via incident reporting. Accountable for accurate completion of all paperwork and checklists. Restock rig supplies and product bins at the end of each day. Participate in company and sponsored training related to products, services, policies, and procedures. Complete the Clinic Lead reports for each shift. Previous Experience Must be able to perform all clinic job roles. Possess outstanding customer service skills and an aptitude for basic sales techniques, with an interest in animals. Professional appearance and demeanor. Leadership qualities and/or experience. Ability to operate company vehicles. Strong communication skills and ability to provide functional direction and leadership to the team. Comfortable handling and restraining animals within company policy. Existing partners applying must be in good standing. Work Environment Majority of duties conducted indoors. Passenger vehicle travel required to commute to work locations; overnight travel may be required in some locations. Job requires bending, kneeling, moving equipment up to 40 lbs, and standing for long periods, with potential risk of injury if procedures are not followed properly.
